If the D100 is only used to vacuum carpets, this can easily lead to the HEPA filter becoming clogged and affecting suction power. To counteract this, the D100 sprays water onto the brush during the first 5 seconds in dry mode to prevent the HEPA filter from becoming clogged.

This can cause the carpet to become slightly wet, so we recommend using the D100 primarily on hard floors.
