Good book scanner

The scanner does what it's supposed to once you've familiarized yourself with it and identified certain problems. The instruction manual was not very helpful in this regard.

Good scanner with cumbersome software

The scanner is good. The only drawback is the outdated software. It needs an overhaul. It's very cumbersome, requiring too many clicks. Otherwise, it scans quickly and cleanly. I received a returned unit, which was evident from the packaging. Unfortunately, Twopoint It didn't react to that. Conclusion: The scanner works perfectly up to A3 size in good lighting conditions. I'm keeping it.

Shared rating

The hardware is very good for the price. However, the software is a major drawback, as it doesn't run under Linux. I had to buy a copy of Windows 10 first. The scanner isn't recognized under Wine. On the other hand, the OCR is very good. Unfortunately, the problem there is that the result can only be saved for one page at a time, even when multiple pages are selected.
